The name

Audemus means we dare.
When you see “we dare” on this site, it is a translation of the name — a first-person plural from Latin. Audemus is also the first word of Alabama’s state motto, Audemus jura nostra defendere — we dare defend our rights. The company started in Alabama. The name carries both meanings.
